Swedish Textile Technology at the Fair in Borås

Swedish textile technology, which has paved the way for maintaining or even increasing local production through automated processes, will be showcased at the Swedish Textile Machinery Fair (STM). On November 13-14, you are welcome to explore Swedish innovation with a strong focus on sustainable solutions at the Textile University in Borås, Sweden.

The Textile Machinery Association of Sweden (TMAS), along with its member companies, is one of the largest exhibitors at the upcoming STM. The fair offers a unique opportunity for visitors to see and experience the latest in textile machinery technology and digitalization. Exhibiting members include ACG Kinna Automatic, ACG Nyström, Baldwin, Eltex, ES Automatex, Eton Systems, imogo, IRO, Svegea of Sweden, and Texo.

“The Swedish Textile Machinery Fair is an important arena for us to showcase the possibilities of Swedish innovation. We look forward to meeting both existing and potential customers, as well as connecting with other actors in the textile sector. We also aim to inspire and inform about how the Swedish textile machinery industry contributes to more sustainable and circular textile production, in line with global development goals,” says Therese Premler-Andersson, Secretary General of TMAS.

This is the second time the Swedish Textile Machinery Fair is being held. This meeting place for sustainable textile production spans two days and includes machine demonstrations in labs, Swedish and international machine exhibitors, and interesting discussions about the future of local textile production.

TMAS’s mission is to promote the competitiveness and innovation of the Swedish textile machinery industry and to support its members in their global business development. The member companies have collective expertise and experience from production across the textile world.
